Haha!

Haha! Anti-oxidant naman un, kaya medyo ok lang. :D

Yun lang!

OF Guitars, Problems and Friends
After a few (well, not really) practice, I finally sound right when playing the guitar at school.

There is a guitar at our student lounge that everyone can use. I practice there every morning if I come to school early and if we don’t have any exam. Haha! However, I don’t practice there when there are some OTHER people. Nahihiya kasi ako. I know I’m not that good in playing the guitar, but at least, I’m learning.

I actually dunno when and why I suddenly got interested in playing the guitar. Siguro, dahil wala man lang akong alam tugtugin na instrument. Haay! I do hope that I’ll learn more stuff on guitars.

I really want a guitar, so that I’ll be able to practice and polish (haha!) my skills. But the thing is, my brother thinks that the guitar, if I am to have one, will just bother me with my studies. Yeah! I guess he is right. I don’t have the time to practice much, the guitar might be a hindrance to my studies, and I have other stuff to think about such as the Student Council and my Sunday reviews for the NMAT. But, if I’ll have one, I’m gonna make sure that it’ll not ruin my study habits. Haay! Hope my brother can read this. Haha! The nice thing is, he already asked me to canvass on the price of an acoustic guitar. However, I told him that I’ll look for a guitar during my sembreak. Feeling ko kasi, baka nga hindi ko siya masyadong gamitin during the sem.

Sembreak is just a month and a few days to go. After that period, liberty – liberty from school work, from exams, and from the disgusting and killing smell of tobacco. I know I don’t have any guts to tell those smokers at school to stop smoking in the student lounge. There are those fourth year students kasi na nag-ssmoke. Haay! 1 sem to go and you are all gone! Haha! I’m gonna try and make sure that, even though I’ll not be an officer of the Student Council by then, smoking and those alumni that uses the facility of the PH students lounge (they smoke din kasi, pasimuno pa nga ata!) will be BANNED to enter the lounge! Anyway, what I really thrills me when sembreak is nearing is the guitar thingy. Also, another thing that thrills me is the fact that when sembreak is there, I’m gonna feel proud that I finished a sem of majors. Another thing is that after so many months, makakauwi na rin ako sa bahay namin sa probinsya. I really miss that place, especially the mouth-watering Image hosted by Photobucket.com isaw that I usually buy sa kanto. I hope that isaw stand is still there.

Lately, most of my friends are feeling down because of the stress brought about by our very toxic school. Deep inside, I really wanted to help them, but I don’t know how. Pero I really want to. I felt helpless and depressed at times when my friends are. I feel so stupid for not being able to help them cope with the toxicity of our majors or, at the very least, cheer them up. Having a chat with a friend a while ago using YM!, that certain friend somewhat indirectly told me that I shouldn’t be depressed, just because my friends are. That friend told me that “listening to all his nonsense” helped. But I think, I wasn’t able to. (If ever you’re reading this or my blog, sorry for posting these stuff here, should ask permission first before putting anything here that might be confidential or something) I wasn’t able to help any of my friends by just listening to them. Like when I was in a friend this afternoon at the MRT (or did she tell us that while still at school). She was telling me about her plans of dropping a subject at school. Well, I wasn’t able to tell her any useful advice. I don’t know how to persuade people to do something that they themselves do not want to do. Guys, I don’t want to see all of you giving up on something. I know and I believe that you can do it. You can make it! Seeing you lose your hopes make me feel worse that what you actually feel. When you feel that way, I sometimes think that I am not a friend. I should help you, but I can’t. Yeah, I sound pathetic, pero yun ako e. I just don’t want my friends hurt or sad.

"A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself."

I hope that with this quote, I can be a friend to you. But I still hope to be able to give you good advices, advices that can help and make you feel a bit better.

Sipag ko today!
Of all the days, why do I feel energetic today as compared to my energy last week?

I did all my chores.

I started working on my assignment in Biostat and just have to print one document, and I'm done.

I "re"-reviewed my NMAT reviewer, which I bought from National Bookstore (the NMAT Reviewer something), and am glad to have finished 3 tests at that.

I finished my part for our Physio lab report, and am proud to have finished it with my mind properly working/functioning.

But why now? Why didn't I feel any energy flowing through me last week, when two hell exams were given? Why didn't I have the energy the night before the exam so that I could've reviewed more on the topics for the exams?

So Damn Tired!
New layout! Hehe.. Have nothing else to do. It's raining outside. Can't go to the store to buy some food, or I'll get wet.

Anyway, I'm tired, that's all. Exams, failures, problems. Haay! When will I be able to take some break?

Haay!

The Ups and Downs of Friendship

“In good times, and bad times,

I’ll be on your side forevermore,

That’s what friends are for.” (Did I get this right?)

Nice one, right? But is it true? Will forever be forever, or it will be ‘til tomorrow? Can friendship really last that long?

A part of my old self is back. The part or personality where friendship matters that much that I will go to the limits just to regain the friendship and have it not go to waste. The part that is so stubborn and foolish. The part that makes me feel so down when friendship does not go according to plan.

Or is there really a plan? Or SHOULD there be a plan when it comes to friendship?

There shouldn’t be any plan!

So that makes the part “I’ll be on your side forevermore” a fallacy. Think about this, if friendship is not planned, then, you shouldn’t be saying that “I’ll be on your side ‘til the end” because that makes a plan for the future of the friendship. Am I right?

* * *

Friendship is neither planned nor wanted. It comes at the right time. I actually don’t know when, specifically. All I know is that it comes at some time in your life, that’s it!

Friendship is not planned. You do not plan to become friends with people just to become the Mr. or Ms. Congeniality of the Universe. You don’t! No questions asked.

You do not actually befriend a person because you WANTED that person to be your friend. A common mistake made by all, befriending a person because he needs a friend. A mistake that may lead people to become hurt emotionally.

* * *

Friendship is such a sweet thing. When it is there, you learn lots of thing, may it be good or bad. You learn to appreciate life more that you usually did. You learn to become a person, a social person.

“A friend is a single soul dwelling in two places.” (Did I get it right?)

I took this line from the movie A Walk To Remember. It’s right, isn’t it? When you are in that stage when you are friends with a person, isn’t it true that you and that person are like one, that you share almost the same feelings for something? Is my analogy right?

Anyway, what I want to point out here is that friendship is like making a bond with a person. A bond so “tight” that it is like you and your friends souls are one. As in chemistry, it is an ionic bond between two people. As in biology, there is mutualism. Whatever the analogies may be, it all comes down to one thing – friendship=strong bond between two people.

* * *

Once friendship is there, there are actually lots of things to your advantage. You have a shoulder to cry on. You have a person to confide your secrets and feelings. You have an adviser. You have a seatmate, lunchmate, and any other mate (can even be your mate, hehe :D). You have an alarm clock, an organizer. And if you want to abuse your friend (though I think this is not friendship anymore), a laboratory manual, an assignment-source, a project maker, a cheat-mate, even a partner-in-crime.

A friend can teach you to cry when problems need to be cried upon. He or she can teach you to care for other people. A friend can influence you to study well. A friend can share laughs with you. A friend can teach you other things. He or she can even teach you to love.

All in all, if you have a friend, you have life!

* * *

But like any fairy tale, it comes to an end. Yes! It does come to an end! That’s why the second and third part of the anecdote above is SO wrong. This is the downside of friendship. When you think that it will be forever, then it will end unexpectedly.

If this happens, can friendship be regained again? If it does end, can you start all-over to have that forever come true?

From the torn pieces of a thing, a glass or mirror for example, will you be able to glue it back together and make it look like nothing has happened? Will you be able to bring the glass or mirror back to its original appearance, no cracks, or no missing pieces?

Now, will you be my friend?
